Lunchtime

I picked Fiona up this morning and asked her if there was anything she wanted to do. She said she would like some new clothes. I suggested going to M&S Deepdale. If it was busy we wouldn't go in. It was empty. There were very few people looking at clothes. We decided to try the cafe for lunch. We couldn't believe how empty it was no queue at all. The server said it had been manic the rest of the week. I drove to my house via Southport and the sun shone. We were driving close by a friend of Fiona's in Formby so we called in to wish her a happy Christmas.
I went to mass with Mel, Ada and Dom tonight which was lovely. Fiona and I have had a lovely light tea ready to indulge on lots of nice things over the next couple of days.
