This Dragonflies Last breath?

My daughter found this perfect dragonfly sitting on the lawn. It was breathing and its wings were kind of shivering so I bought it inside and took heaps of photos.
It seemed content to pose for me but unfortunately it didn't want to fly away when I was finished. I have placed it outside and its sitting there just shivering. I guess as its the end of summer and the weather is cooling down that dragonflies would likely be coming to the end of their life cycle. I think they're amazing insects! So beautiful and so clever! I felt privileged that it let me take so many great pictures.
