Beauty and the beast

Marvellous production of Beauty and the Beast with kids and cousins at New Vic theatre- highly recommended with wonderful music, good script + actors, brilliant staging and a really interesting feminist twist on the old story, plus just enough pantomime twists to satisfy tradition (and convince me I'm not a huge fan of pantomime).

The rest of the old city is looking even more run down than I remembered (see extras, but probably visiting in December is a bad idea), so great to find at least a few green shoots...
