Not Bergen

A visit to the ancient county town for last minute Christmas shopping. Most of it is rather modern and a bit run down but the old buildings are beautiful (though rather few) and reminded me slightly of Bryggen in Bergen.

Weird to see discount shops in in the lower storey (see extra) of what is basically a museum. Lovely old streets, but I had to wait for cars to clear, would be better if properly pedestrianised. Can't help wondering if the high street will ever recover after COVID...
