Happy times.

Today we lost one of our oldest friends.
Norma has been suffering from dementia for a few years, but over the last few months has deteriorated rapidly.
About six weeks ago she was admitted to hospital, and then moved into a nursing home, where she died early this morning.
We have had some very happy times together, and looking back at old photographs I came across these taken during the Christmas of 1965.
Norma is wearing the striped blazer.
Oh such happy days. It is hard to believe she is no long with us.
We called to see her husband this morning. He is coping very well under the circumstances.
Just the dog for company now.
