I have discovered how to guarantee, on the murkiest possible afternoon, with rain confidently forecast by all the separate weather websites, that no rain will fall during a two hour walk. Wear your waterproof trousers.  It never fails.  If I wear them, the weather is dry.  If I do not, it pours down.
