Polesden Lacey Sunset

I normally try to fit in a visit to Mrs Greville Christmas party at her Polesden Lacey estate near Leatherhead in Surrey, but poor weather and other concerns meant it looked liked I would miss out this year.  However, the weather picked up and [nearly] all the Christmas prep was done, so I headed out today.

It was a trifle cold and cloudly, but the clouds cleared enough for a dramatic sunset over the Surrey hills which just begged for a pano treatment for BobsBlips W-I-D-E sky challenge.  It was a golden sunset rather than reds and orange; sadly a sign of some bad weather to come for Christmas methinks.
