Let’s go fly a kite.
It’s been a good day.
This morning I dropped Mr C off at Pinderfields Eye Hospital, and they started his treatment. An injection into his left eye.
Don’t worry it wasn’t as bad as it sounds. He didn’t see or feel a thing.
He was full of praise for all doctors and nurses. Especially Nurse Norma who did the injection.
Thank you NHS once again.
The next injection will be in a months time, and he will have one a month for the next 8 months.
So I took myself off to Pugneys Country Park for a walk.
Nothing like as warm as last time.
Cold and gloomy. Not good for photos.
This lovely sculpture was on the children’s trail. Not sure if it is new as I didn’t notice it last time. Just got back to the car when I got a phone call from Mr C to say he was ready to be picked up. Good timing.
This evening we have spent a lovely few hours with our granddaughter, Hannah, and boyfriend, who came for tea.
They, as well as all our grandchildren, do bring such a lot of joy and happiness to our lives.
So a very happy day it has been.
