… buying plasterboard screw thingies to tether a bookshelf to the wall, and plastic sandpits and bags of sand, an ironing board cover, and 20 rapid antigen tests*.

The weather is too nice, and it’s much too late-December-ish, to be still at work fielding last-minute requests and warding off end-of-year chaos, and stressing about how I’m going to get everything done in the next three days.
