Swan lake

A rather unoriginal title, but it was lovely to see the swans so close at the lake today. Sadly it looks like we'll be staying home for Christmas and my Mum's visit for the New Year is now postponed.
I went on my bike to check out the bike path to work, having fallen off on the ice last week. There's still patches of ice so I tried a few detours but in the end I ended up going in circles! So my plan is to go by bike and walk the icy bits.
In the afternoon M and I walked down to the lake to watch the sun go down.
