The Current Mrs Creel does a bit of light housework; no safety net required.
Erland was on the boat and we compared tomes - although he admired my Barbara Tuchman he wasn't glowing about my Larry Grayson's Best Recipe book. You may ponder why we ventured across to the Hoy bolthole - as usual, the tension In the Orkney Mainland became pressure cooker like. One redeeming feature however is that we hear Emily McLeod has touched down at Kirkwall Airport.
After walking around Linksness we went in past to see Donald, then Lachlan and Angela arrived. Even though it has turned colder John Aberdein was oot in his garden with his wheelbarrow - he said he felt the fresh air will do it the world of good.
A light lunch of Westray biscuits, Rendalls well-fired rolls etc. Banter at the table indicated l need to buy a new teapot. Another boost is that the bolthole has a resident Robin.
The extras show the approach to the bolthole. Whilst CMC has a peedie bit of light banter with the postie, it's obvious the ferry crew have never seen the handheld device of inevitability before.
Further details will be available on January 19th.
