Roadmap Out Of Lockdown Step 4b - Day 7

A December Periwinkle! Another unseasonal discovery at the bottom of the garden!

And another very difficult and stressful day. 7.15am called an ambulance for dad. 7.45am he was whisked off to hospital with suspected stroke. 9.30am A&E nurse phoned to get full background history and said she would phone with update. Waited until 1pm without any news, then tried and tried and tried to speak to someone at the hospital, eventually getting through at 5.30pm, only to find that dad had just been moved to Acute Stroke Ward. At 6.30pm finally got to speak to nurse looking after dad; he’s stable but they still need to do a lot more tests, have to wait until 2pm tomorrow for next update. But at least we know he’s in the best place getting the care that he needs.
