Frida and Me

I finally got to see the Frida Kahlo exhibit, Pose, at the Rose Art Gallery at Brandeis University.  It closes Sunday.  It focused on photos of her over the years and it was wonderful.  This is my “selfie” with Frida.  I have always felt a connection to her in a small way.  I too had an accident that injured my spine and I was confined to bed for months.  She started painting and I decided to go to college to become an art teacher, both life changing decisions.
