Ambivalence

Thanks to all of you who offered such kind words for my disappointment in canceling our trip yesterday.  

Last night we had a long hard look at every aspect of our plans and have decided to make a very abbreviated trip to see our little 2-year-old grandson who we have not seen since August.  So instead of a 5-day trip seeing multiple others, and staying in several locations, we will just see him and our daughter-in-law and will spend all our time with just him.  If the weather is good, we will do some outdoor things, and if not we will hang out in the hotel.   We will miss seeing #4 son and #3 son and his family and our friends, but we will see #3 et al at our house in just about 10 days.  We feel this will minimize any risk and will ease this terrible ache we have to see him.

Today is #4 son's 36th birthday, so instead of a visit, we had a nice facetime.  

I haven't posted a squirrel in ages, and this guy was asking for it as he has be working overtime to get at my birdfeeders.
