It's Beginning To Look Alot Like

Christmas!  With all the house "stuff" Christmas is getting lost in the shuffle this year but in our new little town of Leland, NC, some volunteers outdid themselves with this light display. This is just one small corner of the park where it's all set up with Christmas music playing too.  

In house news, all of our stuff from New Hampshire arrived today in the Pack Rat container.  Tomorrow the movers will unload the container and bring the few heavy furniture pieces  into the house and all the boxes and small things will be unloaded to the garage.  In the next couple of days it will start to look more like a home and lose some of its echo.  

We met one of the neighbors tonight as she was walking by after getting her mail.  We are officially welcomed into the neighborhood.  The mailboxes are set up down the street in a somewhat central location.  One reason to get a short walk in each day.  I am very far behind on the few gifts I have to buy, but it's okay.  It will all happen in its own time.
