Well Trained

A rare December day with no lunches, functions or events to attend became quite relaxing. I have taken a leaf out of Mark’s book and now sit reading with ‘Alexa’ playing ‘Boom Radio’, (the station for the baby boomer generation), and therefore not distracted by the TV.

On today’s walk I included the lower part of the cemetery now that it has dried out a bit. Don’t tell anyone but Paddy occasionally goes off the lead ‘freestyles’ and today he led me to a previously unnoticed and unrecorded private memorial. This one is to Leading Stores Accountant Hugh Williams of HMS Glorious. No research done yet but I will get round to it.

Josh remains in Sweden, his average daily temperature of around -16 makes Falmouth feel positively balmy.

I still do not feel 100% but have committed to row tomorrow morning, early start beckons.
