I HATE LILIES!

Birmingham week ten. I'm in the Marriott Hotel for two nights this week, not my favourite hotel in Birmingham having stayed there on previous visits.

They have a large flower display in the foyer, and being married to a florist I know the amount of work and thought that has gone into the arrangement. However, I detest the scent/stench/stink (delete as required) of lilies. I find it too over powering and unpleasant. The smell of this display permeates the whole of the ground floor of the hotel, including the breakfast room and the bar and has even managed to get to other floors via the elevators.
