A very peopley day!

Breakfast, study, checkout of hotel. Yay! Pickup organised by my hosts - a jolly Brit and an even jollier Syrian woman. Very kind and hospitable. They got me organised for my work Christmas party tonight and even drove me to the station and picked me up after the party. They’re about 20 minutes drive away so it was very nice.
The party was a glam affair, at the Marriott at Canary Wharf, with many agents, marketeers etc, and five out of the ten teachers. So good to meet colleagues, my manager and the owner and made to feel welcome.
A good, busy day. And one to be very grateful for.
