Town and Gown

I went for a chest x ray today which turned out to be all clear. I only wanted my gp to have a listen and see if I’ve got a chest infection but I ended up at Addenbrookes.

My poor work partner is retiring tomorrow and her party has been cancelled and special assembly is now happening by zoom. Not the ending she was hoping for but we’ll do our best to make it special.
Alfie just have me a lift to Waitrose to get her some flowers and I’ve bought some crisps, squash and biscuits so we can have a little class party in the afternoon. Hopefully she’ll enjoy her last working day and she won’t be disappointed.
