Misty Sangre d Christo

Today's hike along Kwage Mesa, near Los Alamos, was short and fun.

Near the end of the mesa, I noticed that the mist on the 12.000' + Sangre d Christo mountains was showing--a rare event. So, I grabbed this picture at mid day. The foreground is a rock drop off of 200'. In the midground, one can see some other mesas. Classic New Mexico.

This was blip 365. As I reviewed blip #1, I noticed that it was a flower; we have no flowers, yet....too dry?
