Mono Monday festive

I had two shots lined up and gave husband the choice.
I received a poinsettia at the weekend, and nothing says festive like the abundance of red, unless of course you convert it to black and white. In which case it just looks a mess according to him.
I think it was ok, but he said the festive owl hanging on the tree was much better!
