Old Warden Christmas Tree Festival

Catching up on a few chores this morning and festive preparations with the family, then escaped for a couple of hours to meet Nicoiseannie over at Old Warden Church to view their Christmas tree festival and put up a memories star on their remembrance tree.
We had a good catch up and a wander round the churchyard. I must also give my apologies, as I encouraged Anne to see if one of the rustic looking benches was robust enough for us both to sit on - you can see where this is going can’t you.
Fortunately it was only just a bit wobbly, so no real harm was done. Anyway, we found a different one to sit down on for a while and chat.
It’s a very calm peaceful location and some lovely views for quite some distance actually.
So, my blip is of one of the snake carvings which runs across the top of the pews. An extra of all the Christmas trees. I did vote for the parish council one, although they were all very well done.
