Watching

So many memories of standing watching for platform numbers at Kings Cross. Hard to remember what it was like before the huge refurbishment, but it was the same thing - wait for a number and then go for the train. 

I do like Kings Cross, but then I like all railway stations - so exciting and full of potential. I remember waiting at the station when I was a child and we were travelling by train from Bradford to visit Grandma in Derby - steam then. 

Surely travelling by train should be the way for the future - taking cars off roads and planes out of the sky. A shame that this Government doesn't see it that way.
