Shocked & surprised to walk into Piccadilly gardens today & see this fairground ride whirling people round at great height, higher than the nearest tower blocks. Couldn't take my eyes off it & had to keep stopping mid-sentence even though I was having a lovely catch-up with my old friend who I'd not seen in months. Was also surprised that I hadn't heard about it being built, normally I pride myself on being in the know about goings on in my city but this 230ft "skyflyer" snuck in when I wasn't looking!
