The Last Gasp...

....of summer.  

I had to pick up my photos from the exhibition this morning so while at the gardens I planned to get a little exercise, which almost always means taking my camera along as well and generally that just slows me down.

I ran into Wendy, who advised me to go to the rose garden which still had some amazing flowers, many of them have passed their prime which made them all the more interesting. 

While walking past the small pond I noticed the wonderful tree reflections, and since I still have many extras remaining, I have added this shot as well.
