Our oak tree .....

..... is more seasonally almost completely devoid of leaves.  It was looking good in the sunshine this afternoon.

Our rather pretty yellow buddleia, on the other hand, is clearly very confused (see extra) - its other name is "butterfly bush" but I'm afraid that although it has quite a few flowers, all the butterflies have either died or hibernated.  W thinks this bush must wish to be admired for itself, rather than for its butterfly attraction.

I spent another day sewing in the studio - I've now completed six crowns of varying colours and sizes, and have started on the third place mat for Z.
