On The High Street ...

One of the entries in the town's Christmas Shop Window competition. 

You have to live here for a while before you start to understand the local sense of humour - not sure I'm totally au fait with it even after 16 years ....

There's a constantly changing set of characters, and other stuff - you might call it bric-a-brac, or curios, or tat, or even antiques ... there's quite a choice. 

Today I was rather tempted by the plate (ashet, in Scots) in the extra, I may go in next week and see if it's still there. I don't really need another large plate - but it is Silly Saturday ...
