In the woods

Its been a bright but cold day today.  My husband was off on a bike ride with a friend so after dropping him off I headed to the commons.  I decided to walk towards an area of woodland that I hadn't visited for sometime.  I rather liked the colours and textures of the fallen leaves and the ferns.  The sky also had some lovely wispy cloud formations but I was in the wrong location to include those.  I hurried back to the car as it became more overcast and headed back home.  A quick coffee and it was time for the midday Pilates class.

This afternoon was spent catching up on household stuff and later picking up my husband who had had an enjoyable outing.
