Know When To Fold Them

My Dear Princess and Dear Friends,

Caro broke her phone yesterday. It was just one in a series of disasters that befell her on Thursday. So when I got home yesterday, she was in full-on tantrum mode. 

Therefore my mission today was simple: To Make It All Better. 

We went to the shop where I got her exactly what she wanted to make her feel better. A top of the range, flip-foldy phone. And then we ensured all of her old data was transferred across. And then I took her for a nice lunch. 

And then she was happy. She is sitting opposite me right now, playing and playing with her new phone. 

And then Shenée texted me that she had a tantrum with her laptop. It was TOO SLOW, she said. So Craig took her to the shop and bought her a brand-new top of the range one. "Tantrums are how I get nice new things," she told me.

But she didn't need to tell me. I already knew.
