Roman gods

This wallpaper frieze has been in our hall since we moved into the house. When we redecorated recently, we wanted to replace it - it is so old that it is yellowing and quite tatty.

At the last minute we changed our minds. These gods have been looking down on us and smiling on us for so long, it seemed we would be tempting fate if we took them down. I suspect we will shuffle off this mortal coil before they do.
