Primula Vulgaris...

...such a horrible name for such a beautiful little thing.

As planned, I went to the nursery today....ended up with some herbs, pots and this lovely, understated 'wild' primrose - which I much much prefer to the pink and blue ones you tend get at this time of year.

Lovely day, pottering round the house, tidying the garden and popping to Marbury nursery - no gifts, no cute teddies, no cheap books and no coffee shop - just plants!!! in a beautiful walled garden setting :-)
