Meet Hippo...

.... he is a very loyal and helpful hippo. Not only does he prop our living room door open, but he does it without complaining...whilst looking terribly cute!

First day of the holidays and of course it rained. In a way it suited me...it meant I got some cleaning and tidying done - and boy was it necessary after the crazy term we just had - and I marked my yr11 assessments which consequently meant updating spreadsheets etc.

Plan is to get chores done while the weather is grotty - I know that implies that it will get better, but deep down I am an optimist! Also means I can enjoy a few days away with P when he Is off too.

Day1 of holiday very productive and I have to admit almost enjoyable! Nice feeling to get chores out of the way!
