ONE EYE OPEN

A male Tufted Duck resting afloat on the pond in the Park. I had a lovely walk there for about half an hour this morning with lots to see, in contrast with the dismal wildlife turnout yesterday! My most intriguing spot, though, was this giant bracket fungus (extras) which I'm hoping to get an ID for, either here or on another site. And now I need to write some cards and make a couple of salads for the Wild Girls' seasonal bunfight tonight. We're all triple-jabbed and tested and ready to go!
