It Comes And Goes

Tomorrow will be our 43rd wedding anniversary, and to celebrate we decided to purchase a piece of Maine art for the new house. 

This is a pastel entitled It Comes And Goes  by a local artist, Lyn Asselta.  According to the bio we read at the gallery, "She has always found herself drawn to places that have a rugged, solitary strength, places with untold stories, and places where she feels able to lose herself in the nature that surrounds her." 

This wonderful image is of the rocks and waves at nearby Pemaquid Point -- a place we have visited many many times over the years.  We are thrilled to include it in our collection!
