Good Friday

The girls allowed us a lie in which actually caused an argument as we were running behind from the word go! A dash to the shops, frantic clean and preparation of a prawn and salmon pillow and a banoffee tart from scratch and we were ready.

It turned out to be a very good lunch and a leisurely time with friends, grown up friends and little friends too. E and J showed real glimpses of friendship today rather than simply the "that's mine" toddler ethos, they hid under the dog blanket, watched Peppa Pig together and even hugged goodbye. Next time they meet up, J could well be a big brother.
