Lone worker

Nearly a week now of working on my own and I’m pretty much ready for Ellie to get better! Since I’ve been at SYFC there’s mostly been a team of at least three and so it’s strange to be just the two of us at the moment. You definitely feel it when the other person is away.

Despite that, it’s been a good day of work followed by a lovely hour or so with musicalblips afterwards. Always a pleasure to spend time with a good friend and an open fire.

Our Christmas runlates social was supposed to involve a run around town to look at the lights but the weather stopped play and we went straight to the pub instead. I don’t think anyone was too disappointed to be honest. Good company, as always, plus scampi and chips and (another) open fire.
