Polska
Storm Barra blew through the south west with more speed than damage so far here in the valley.
We walked into the village in the morning after my weekly business video call. It was wetter and windier than we were expecting. The queue at the post office was especially bracing as it was mostly on the pavement. It was a very slow day for photographs too.
My Blip shows the Republic of Poland’s insignia. We recently found a good spot for it on the wall in our new home. It had been presented to me when I began my work in Poland and was in a prominent position in my office there throughout our four years in Warsaw.
As I write this, the wind and rain have picked up again here this evening.
