Horses

A rather different morning today started with us going to collect some beer for Christmas from a local brewery  ( see extras) and then we took a diversionary route home to see some more of the area.  We ended up in a very wet and muddy area with lots of horsey places and narrow little lanes. At one point we had to pull off the road for 12 of these beautiful horses to come past us.

Some of you will be pleased to know that I have made the Christmas Cake and the decorations have been found and might be put up tomorrow.

We were due to pay the remainder of a holiday bill in the next few weeks.  We had a chat with the friends we were going with and we have decided to put it back another year in the hope that we might feel safer then.
