Angel on high

A partly sunny, but quite cold and breezy day today. Roger and Laura went out looking at cars late this morning. Laura has been using our second car since she came back from Kuwait, which has been working OK with the hours she works, and the fact that her work is fairly close by, so if necessary we can drop her off at work or pick her up. However, if she gets a job out of state, which is more than likely, she will need her own car. Unfortunately, it’s a bad time to be trying to buy a car at present. New cars are hard to get because of the chip shortage, and that is having a knock-on effect on second-hand cars. Meanwhile, I was doing a bit of tidying up, and got a start on Christmas cards, while listening to Christmas music. Roger and I got out for a neighbourhood walk late afternoon. It’s going to get cold tonight - well below freezing - and tomorrow it will barely make it up to freezing, with snow showers overnight Tuesday. Winter is coming!!
Thankful today for heating, warm clothes and a warm bed to get into later.
