Blow Torch
This was the dessert I blipped the ingredients of yesterday. The pretzel and nut brûlée wasn't a huge success. Eatable but not perfect. I overcooked the egg and cream, too solid. I tried to do the crisp burnt sugar topping, too lumpy.
None of this mattered to The Mate. This was his 13th birthday with us and the beef olive main course was extremely nice. Another first for me
