I have a guest tomorrow so I thought I'd try something new. Thank you, Nadyia, for inspiring me to attempt your Pretzel nut brûlée!

This morning I spent an hour on the phone trying to get our Sky satellite service working again. They need the area around the Sky box cleared and sanitized for the engineer to work. "OK", I thought "I can move candles, ornaments, huge screen, book, DVDs, Wii Fit stuff." Then he said the engineer would come on the afternoon of Christmas Eve! "Oh, no he won't!" I said.

An afternoon doing a bit of shopping for tomorrow's meal. Wish me luck!
