Christmas has begun...

...or at least it has in our house.  It seems to take us longer every year to erect the Christmas tree so we like to put it up early and make the most of it.  It's such a pleasure to unwrap and hang all the pretty baubles, lights and tinsel.  I'm afraid we don't go for a tasteful colour scheme, it's a real mixed collection of decorations, collected over the years. We've hung all the more robust decorations around the bottom in case Ziggy can't resist batting them with his paws.  He sleeps in the lounge at night so I hope we find it all intact in the morning!
He was very interested in the whole process of us bringing everything down from the loft and had to inspect and approve of all the boxes and bags, as you'll see in the extra snapped with my phone.
