Abstract Thursday ...

... faces in the goblet.

I recently saw a similar picture to this and knew I would have to try and recreate it for Abstract Thursday.  So today I set out to do just that.

It wasn't easy and there was a lot involved but, boy, did I have fun!  So much fun that I plan to do more photos like this experimenting with different back grounds.  Watch this space ...

I won't go into all the details on creating this abstract ... it would take too long.  But it involved creating the background, casting said image to one of our smart TV's and setting out different goblets filled with water at varying heights.  If you'll notice the image in the water glass is reversed from the background. Richard helped me with the camera settings ... this was shot using manual exposure for 4 seconds.  I definitely love the results! Do you see the face? (The thumbnail is a clue)  Please view large.
