see my long tail.....

There were a few African Paradise Flycatchers making a real racket this afternoon - I thought maybe it was an owl, but it was a big bird of prey - unfortunately it flew off just as I arrived so I didn't get a good look at it.  But I actually managed to get a picture of the male APF!  They are so quick and like to hide in the leaves of the trees so I was delighted when this little guys sat for a few minutes and sang me a song!!

I have had a busy day - we are still fixing the mess after the storm a few weeks ago.  The wall is still being rebuilt so builders are on site.  With no electricity we could not pump water from the borehole but that has been sorted so gradually things are getting back to normal!

Am thankful its the weekend - I need a rest!!
