I'm hungry...

This morning I saw this beautiful African Paradise Flycatcher feed another bird - I took a photo and was a bit puzzled!  Then this afternoon I was working outside and the same bird started dive bombing me - it was quite frightening!  Then I realised the small bird is actually a fledgling and it was propped up in a bush right next to where I was working! It must have fallen out of the nest this morning. I moved away from it and the adult calmed down.  Both parents came to check regularly on the baby and brought it some food!  This evening at dusk somehow they managed to get it back to the nest in the tree above!

The extra is not a great photo but it was taken through a window - its the parent with the baby in the bush beside where I was working!!  Am glad the baby seems to be doing fine!  Such a privilege to watch such interaction!
