A new baby

The plans I had for today!!
Last day of my holiday, was planning to go to Largs with the boys while S was at work - but they didn't want to go!! Just wanted to go out to play. Kick a ball and run about, why not I suppose, they have been out and about all weekend!
Nipped up to see mum, all tearful after being at my brothers yesterday, it was a good day but huge empty space at the table. Always feel it when we are all together. She was sitting knitting and watching Andre Rieu when i went in. She used to always knit or sew, she made all our clothes when we were younger. She only knits when a baby is on its way. My mum has made a few wee jumpers and jackets, all neatly packed in a box with a bar of Johnson Baby soap and bottle of baby talc- a beautiful smell.
