Hard at work

We all piled up to my brothers house for dinner today. Boy his wife can cook!! Can't move I'm so stuffed.
We had about a million boiled eggs to paint and decorate. Lijana showed us how they decorate their eggs in Lithuania. Take an egg wrap it in different leaves an grass from the garden (me and the kids job to go and get the grass), rice. Wrap onion skin round it, then gauze, then tie with coloured thread and boil. Remove everything and the dye and pattern had gone on to the egg.

As a kid we all went away for the day usually to Loch Lomond with a picnic, hundreds of us, it was like The Broons.
My mum is looking great, her glamorous self! ( just thought I would add that)!
