Day 2 - SNOW!

Well, this was unexpected.  It was fantastic but it did mean cancelling plans to meet up with S. It arrived just at the wrong time in the day but I was thankful that I could leave the house on foot, at least.  It had been S's idea to catch the sunset.  It's a shame it wasn't together because it was stunning, particularly with the fog drifting in, but it was the right choice.  I walked further than I intended - an extraordinary difference compared to yesterday's gale and just too lovely to descend. 

Little Dog was flabbergasted to be ditched two days on the trot but she had a wonderful play in the snow with Rich once he was back from his bike ride (bike ride!)
