Winter Wonderland

Well it was quite a shock to peek round the bedroom blind this morning and see the ground covered in white. The covering wasn’t thick but someone was up early enough and determined enough to make a snowman to sit on the communal bench, where he now slouches melting quietly through the slats.

The white Meadows have been restored to green and the cold hiccup is giving way to warmer air and a temperature in double figures by Tuesday.

The hiccup while it lasted has caused major upset in the rail network and domestic supply of electricity , not to mention damage to buildings. Storm Arwen was a nasty little bit of work.
