Boat and birds

We got a message that our Canada vaccination passports had been laminated, so I decided to go to town early to pick them up. The photo store here can make double-sized wallet sized cards from the passports if we email them. Much more convenient to use than the 8 1/2 x 11 version that prints out from the government website. I do have screen shots of both of ours on my phone as well, but G doesn't have a cell phone and I rarely have mine turned on, so having the cards is great. I picked up a few groceries and wine then had a very quick walk around the covered area by the liquor store to find a blip. I was lucky to manage to keep the camera mostly out of the rain, but I do see a few water spots on this photo. I used this one because it has a real seagull in it! I couldn't believe the two people coming up from their boat without umbrellas in the first extra. Can you spot the second person?  The second extra is of a new shop in the same little plaza that looked very inviting on such a dreich day, but I'm not a shopper and I wanted to get home. Had to use auto settings because there wasn't enough light to adjust the settings manually. I was surprised to find the main road open when I drove home. It was still closed when I drove up to town.
Pouring again, all day. We had another power outage in the afternoon, and by the time the power came back on and I'd made supper, I didn't feel like posting my blip. So here I am at 6:30 am Sunday posting. It's still pouring. I might go for a drive later today to see how the temporary repairs to our road held up. It's still just open to local traffic.
Latest updates to conditions, if you're interested in having a look.
